Shooter Movie is an American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Mark Wahlberg. It is based on the 1993 novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter. The film follows Bob Lee Swagger (Wahlberg), a former Marine Scout Sniper who is framed for the assassination of an Ethiopian bishop. Swagger is forced to go on the run and clear his name, while also uncovering a conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of government.
