Great Wall Movie (2016) is a Chinese-American action fantasy film directed by Zhang Yimou. The Movie tells the story of William Garrin, and his fellow mercenary, Pero Tovar (Pascal), who were captured by Chinese soldiers while attempting to steal gunpowder from the Great Wall. They are brought before the Commander (Lau), who explains that the Wall is actually a defense against an alien threat that attacks every 60 years.
